NORD Community Conversation: Building Awareness & Support Through Rare Disease Day

In honor of Rare Disease Day on February 29, 2024, we invite you to join us for an engaging virtual discussion where community members will explore strategies to raise awareness for rare diseases and effectively advocate in their communities. You’ll hear directly from patients, caregivers, and NORD volunteers about how getting involved with NORD and raising awareness for rare diseases changed their personal journeys. Each of their stories shows it is possible to make a positive difference, whether from home or out in the community.
Participants will have the chance to share how they plan to “#ShowYourStripes” on Rare Disease Day and inspire one another with effective ways to advance the cause, not just on this especially rare day, but all throughout the year. Register for this Community Conversation here.
