Please join Kentucky Rare Action Network for Rare Disease Day in Frankfort on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 12:00pm-4:00pm at the Kentucky State Capitol. This is an opportunity for patients, families, caregivers, medical professionals and industry representatives to come together and educate state legislators and their staff about rare diseases and the challenges patients and their families face in the state.  Contact your state ambassador today for more information.

Kentucky RAN Ambassador Patrick Dunegan and his wife Jennifer hosted some information tables in their local community to bring awareness to rare diseases and the Kentucky Rare Action Network.

 

 

Rare Action Network Kentucky attended the 27th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act Disability Pride and Resource Fair on July, 22nd in Louisville, KY.
Below, Kentucky advocates rally to get their voices heard by Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul. Dear Senators, please protect Medicaid and defend pre-existing conditions!

This Report Card serves as an evaluation of the state progress in implementing policies pertinent to the rare disease community. With it, NORD hopes to provide a road map for the rare disease community of where each state can improve and, ultimately, push forward the discussion on rare disease public policy.
