State Ambassador: Latasha Holt, PhD

Dr. Latasha Holt is Associate Professor of Curriculum in the College of Education & Human Development in Louisiana with over 20 years of experience as an educator. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University and advanced degrees in reading, special education, and English as a Second Language. Her advocacy work developed when her daughter was diagnosed with a rare disease at the age of 7. Dr. Holt bridges theory and practice with an emphasis on culturally responsive teaching, advocacy for the whole child, support for learners with exceptional needs, and the thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence in today's world.
