State Ambassador: Alicia Truelove
Alicia Truelove is a nurse, mom, rare disease patient, and advocate. She has worked in healthcare for over 17 years and enjoys art - she even has a small art collection! Alicia joined NORD's Rare Action Network Ambassador program because she believes that every person, especially those who carry the burden of rare disease, should have the resources they need to live a happy and healthy life.

State Ambassador: Evie Li
Evie graduated from University of California, Los Angeles where she discovered both her love for medicine and the apparent cracks, most significantly for those with rare diseases. She started as an editorial intern with NORD, creating and sharing educational materials about rare diseases, and helped form the first UCLA NORD student chapter. She is now an incoming medical student at Carver College of Medicine in Iowa with the objective to continue spreading awareness and support for the rare disease community.
